Welcome to Teaching.Exchange!
These terms explain the rules you need to follow when you visit our marketplace. By using our services in any manner, you agree to follow these terms outlined below.
Membership
All aspects (other than discovering) of the service will require registration with the service. Accounts are limited to individuals who are 18 years of the or older. By registering, you guarantee that you are at least 18 years of age. Any information provided during registrations needs to be true and accurate. Providing fake information or impersonating someone other than yourself will result in an instant cancellation and deletion of your account.
A username and password will be required to link yourself to your account and safeguard its contents. The username must be unique and cannot be inappropriate or offensive. The password must be kept secure to ensure that no one other than yourself has access to your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
Currently, there are two types of accounts (Customer and Vendor) that can be created based on your needs. A customer account is required for any individual that wants to purchase any of the products available. It is owned by the individual who created it and will provide the necessary access to any of the content purchased. A vendor account is required for any individual that wants to sell on our marketplace.
Teaching.Exchange reserves the right to close or suspend any account of any type at any time for any reason, with or without notice. In addition you also have the right to close the account at any time by contacting us. After your account is closed, you will no longer have any access to any information regarding your account, purchases and products (bought and sold). If such an action is necessary, please ensure to download all purchased content as an account closure is considered permanent. If you are a vendor, you will no longer have access to any of your products sold on our website. However, all customers that have bought your product will still have access.
We reserve the right the suspend or discontinue Teaching.Exchange at any time. Any such action will result in all members no longer having access all data and products regarding their account. We are not liable to you for any impact caused from suspension and discontinuation of our service.
Data Protection

Product/Intellectual Property
In general, all vendors own and maintain all intellectual property rights in any of the products they choose to sell on Teaching.Exchange. Furthermore, any purchase grants that account a license to use the product. This license is only applicable to the account of purchase (individual user) and is for lifetime use. These licenses are non-transferrable and cannot be relocated to a different account or individual not associated with Teaching.Exchange.
Other restrictions of the license granted to the customer include:
(i) You may not use the product for any commercial purpose whatsoever.
(ii) You may not make available the product on any website
(iii) You may not share, sell or transfer the product to someone else without purchasing an additional license.
Other than content uploaded by customers or vendors, Teaching,Exchange owns all other property on the website. You may not use any part of the website for any commercial purpose without our explicit permission. When you post content, you grant Teaching.Exchange the right to store, use and provide access to the content as necessary to provide the service to customers. Please report any violations to us directly.
Payment
All accounts (and thereby the individuals owning them) are responsible to pay any amount due as well as any applicable tax on all purchases made on the Teaching.Exchange marketplace. All transactions will be happen in US dollars (USD) and will include state and sale taxes. By placing any order, you warrant that all billing information is accurate and true.
In addition, there may be certain fees based on the type of account created. In general, all customer accounts are free. Certain vendor accounts have a fee for additional benefit and features. At any time, Teaching.Exchange reserves the right to modify the features, prices and privileges of any of memberships we offer. If such a change is to take place, all members will get a advance notice of the change.
All payouts (to vendor accounts) are done through STRIPE, a third party payment processor. The payouts are scheduled to be delivered on a monthly basis, by the end of each month. Any service fee charged will be deducted from the Payout. We reserve the right to withhold or delay a payout for anyone that is in violation in ANY of the terms.
Return
Any transaction completed on Teaching.Exchange automatically ensures you are in full agreement with following the refund policy.
All sales are final and nonrefundable. We reserve the right to modify the refund policy on a case-by-case basis, when deemed necessary.
Content Guidelines
All customers have the option of providing a review for any product purchased on Teaching.Exchange. Please remember that all feedback you leave behind should reflect your honest opinion on the purchased product. You should do this after you have had a chance to utilize the product in the proper workspace as it will be more informative for future buyers. We may remove any review or feedback at any time, with or without notice and also reserve the right to ban any account from leaving future feedback.
Changes
We reserve the right to make changes to these terms at any time. When doing so, a notice will be sent to each member via the registered email address. The notice will summarize the changes and provide a date as to when the changes will take effect. Please contact or email us fi you have any questions regarding these changes.
